Catherine Claire is an Asian-American artist and producer based in Boston, MA. She is currently enrolled at Berklee for Music Production & Engineering. Born in Shanghai, China, she moved to Columbus, OH, where discovered her passion for music at a young age. Music was a constant in her life, a security that stayed while the world was rapidly changing around her. She draws from her past experiences within her music, and seeks to connect with her listeners through her lyrical storytelling. Her music often blends elements of indie pop, indie rock, and folk, creating a sound that feels both intimate and experimental. Her most recent release, “Reparations,” debuted on February 28, 2025, marking a pivotal step in her artistic evolution. She is currently working on a new four-song EP that pushes deeper into immersive production techniques, storytelling, and innovative textures that reflect her cultural background and creative curiosity.
